This is the right thing to do. America has never turned its back from a challenging situation and that is what makes this nation stand above the rest. We have the right person at the helm who is approaching this with an open mind, using his head instead of his heart. In the end it may well shape out to be that we suspend all off shore drilling until such time we have a very good safety system. And this could take 5 years or so. "...While Obama has put new offshore drilling plans on hold until the cause of the disaster is discovered, he has given no indication that future offshore drilling plans are off the table...."
