It's not worse than Katrina, it doesn't even compare. The people got excited... sort of a little, then were done with it. New Orleans is coming back slowing, all these years later. People were shot down like dogs, and where was all this concern? where were these people who care so much about a dirty ocean when people were dying and losing their homes? no one beyond the 11 will die. no homes will be lost. and New Orleans is still rebuilding. no, I do not take the talkers seriously. they care about Louisiana and the people there? put the energy into getting the thingies built that hold back the water. go there to volunteer and tear down a ruined home and rebuild. people's lives are not ruined by this. might set them back, but this will pass and they will get on with things. it should not be used as an excuse to carry on about offshore drilling when if this spill hadn't happened, them people would not have given a second thought to the people on the coast of Louisiana. Those people should not be used by BP nor by anyone wanting 'political action'. that person means it? go there and go to a fish fry with some folks and then talk about it. otherwise, no reason to trust them anymore than to trust BP.
