I gather it's a mutated version, not just the accent. but I am not sure. Might be like someone from spain trying to speak spanish with someone from east Los Angeles?... Yes, Cajun's been bastardized. From what I understand, it makes the French cringe. Did you know that every 10 years, there is a body of Frenchmen who review the language to make sure the language remains pure and has not been polluted by Anglicization? I think the French get a broom handle stuck up their arses at birth. ;-) And one time I was in Paris and I asked a Frenchman for directions....in French. In English, he told me I was ruining his language and to please speak in English. <g> My response: Mangez la merde et mourez!
