I agree...That phrase is UGLY, but then again, we are dealing with an Administration that presents UGLY to the American people on nearly a daily basis.

You wanted to know about the comment: " Boot on the throat of BP...."

"Who thinks in terms of putting their boot on somebody's throat? "

The Gestapo? I laugh at this one. In local discussion group I referred to Gestapo tactics of this regime and caught holy hell for that comparison. It is always nice to be proven correct.

Good one Mq..... I'm putting your name in to the most creative invented word contest..... Your closest competitor is Alexander Hague....<g>

Obama obviously has a malign antipathy to anything British/English and resentments about the British Empire

Obama hates whites IMO. Mostly white Americans but white Euros piss him off too, (they're all the oppressors after all).....unless they're giving him some lucrative award for some fantasy future experience.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think this latest BP statement fits in with the hostile attitude for the UK in the Falklands and the Churchill bust episode. Apparently Obama has a grievance with the Brits about when they occupied Kenya. I've looked, but I would love to see a currant UK poll on Obama. They have to be starting to figure it out.

re: "We have our boot on the throat of BP"

Maybe this explains it:

Most People Carry Neanderthal Genes:

The burly Ice Age hunters known as Neanderthals, a long-extinct species, survive today in the genes of almost everyone outside Africa, according to an international research team who offer the first molecular evidence that early humans mated and produced children in liaisons with Neanderthals.
In a significant advance, the researchers mapped most of the Neanderthal genome—the first time that the heredity of such an ancient human species has been reliably reconstructed. The researchers, able for the first time to compare the relatively complete genetic coding of modern and prehistoric human species, found the Neanderthal legacy accounts for up to 4% of the human genome among people in much of the world today.
By comparing the Neanderthal genetic information to the modern human genome, the scientists were able to home in on hints of subtle differences between the ancient and modern DNA affecting skin, stature, fertility and brain power that may have given Homo sapiens an edge over their predecessors.
"It is tantalizing to think that the Neanderthal is not totally extinct," said geneticist Svante Pääbo...
