KT,

I never claimed to be a perfect person. You may not like what I have to say, but I have a good moral compass. I know when I've done something wrong and I know when others have too.

I'm too old now to be a pussy and try to be politically correct and win friends and influence people. I call them like I see them and don't care what people think anymore.

When people are lying, spinning, and doing other things to advance their own self interest (financial, political, business etc..) "at the expense of others" that is as clear cut morally wrong as it gets. It's scummy behavior.

There is nothing wrong with trying to advance a political agenda no matter how misguided etc.. by making "an honest case" for what you believe and trying to convince others of the same. It's putting that agenda ahead of the truth that's wrong.

Just as it was wrong to lie us into a war, it's wrong to incite anger in people with charges of racism in order to defeat legislation and gain political advantage.

It's wrong when politicians use faulty projections to pass legislation that will increase spending and the deficit.

It's wrong when politicians talk about public debt instead of total debt when discussing our financial situation unless they are explaining the difference.

It's wrong to use cash accounting when discussing the long term obligations of SS, medicare and medicaid.

I could go on and on.
