BTW you represented on a public thread that Christians support rape because they believe in the God of the bible and then equated marriage with rape. I merely said that PERHAPS that was your experience but that not everyone who is married is a rapist. You love to throw the hay-makers but apparently you are a whipped little boy with a glass jaw. Sorry, I don't monitor your thread. Did you make a blanket accusation that Christians support rape because God commands it? And then get angry because he turned the charge back on you?

Message 26507550 After having repeatedly explained that in ancient cultures where there were very few women to marry that were not direct relatives: wives were often attained as a consequence of war. These young women were not raped by the soldiers as Solon has repeatedly claimed, they were kept for the purpose of marriage. Once married, they were afforded the same rights and privileges as any other wife. If they had been raped then they would not have been suitable to marry. Solon has made the statement that "God commands rape in the bible" and he seems to think this passage supports that assertion when it does not. As soon as Solon is challenged on the facts he launches into vile personal attacks and posts bigoted hate material from anti-Christian websites. Now he's all hurt that someone would have the temerity to give him a taste of his own medicine.
