Jim, look at the way the NYTimes spins a recent poll showing 60% of Americans supporting the new Arizona law: Poll Shows Most in U.S. Want Overhaul of Immigration Laws nytimes.com Wow, most Americans want an "overhaul." So provocative. The poll results were buried in about six and a half paragraphs of spin: > A majority of the people polled, 57 percent, said the federal government should determine the laws addressing illegal immigration. But 51 percent said the Arizona law was “about right” in its approach to the problem. Thirty-six percent said it went too far and 9 percent said it did not go far enough.
