Buffett and Munger agree with you because their firm owns about $5 billion worth 0of GS preferred.

If GS gets criminally prosecuted, which is being bandied about, it will be the end of it. It will join such luminaries as Enron, Worldcom, etc.

The Buffett/Munger stake will be nearly worthless if GS gets prosecuted.

Under the circumstances, it is logical for these two gentlemen to profess as much faith in GS as they can muster. It would be surprising if they did not sing GS's praises.
