longnshort, Maybe the US government should be on trial for inciting people to hate it. Let's sum up just the last handful of years. 1. Lied us into a war 2. Used taxpayer money to bail out companies that engaged in immoral, unethical, and in some cases illegal activities that enriched the leadership of those companies at the expense of the same people that are now bailing them out 3. Printed ungodly amounts of new money that lowered interest rates to negative real levels and transferred tens of billions of dollars from lower middle class and middle class savers to banks in a way that few of them understand. 4. Passed health care legislation with projections of savings that have already been called into question and that will likely add to the tens of trillions of dollars of unfunded liabilities of US government for health care. 5. Planting the seeds for the next boom, massive wealth transfer, and bust via the Fed's money printing and also debasing the value of our currency 6. Didn't do a damn thing about illegal immigration and allowed it to become a huge social, crime, financial burden to taxpayers. If you don't hate the government you are an idiot.
