Ted, > What's the point of answering your question?

Oh, I don't know. Maybe the fact that you care more about accusing conservatives of "hypocrisy" than about cleaning up the shores of the Gulf Coast?

Ten, you don't want to hear the truth. You don't want to address the fact that red states do the most complaining about big gov't while at the same time, most of them are getting carried by taxes from the blue states. I have yet to see a red state announce after a tornado hit or a river overflowed its banks that they were going to forego disaster relief and resolve the problem themselves. Certainly that approach would be much more in alignment with the philosophy of smaller gov't esp. on the federal level. But that's never how it plays out.

You want hypocrisy........Rs talk about fiscal responsibility while running up the worst deficits in US history. Rs complain about sexual morality while toe tapping in johns or picking up hookers. Rs want gov't to stay out of their lives except when it comes to the bedroon or a woman's body or the church. The GOP is rank with hypocrisy and yet you throw a snit because I don't answer your question in the way you want. Get over yourself, Ten. Seriously.

Ever hear of the phrase "Potholes aren't partisan"? Neither are ecological disasters.

I beg to differ.....you need to talk to your man brownie about that one.
