Yup, The cycle goes from design, to low volume production, to high volume production to end of life.

Socket 7 is at the end of life stage. Slot 1 is in low volume stage. This may be a little too much for your comprehension.

However given the 486 technology of the MediaGX, I would say that NSM is really knowingly decieving the uninformed consumer. Its not a nice thing to do.

Sorry Jozef, but your dates are off.
Intel intro'd the Pentium Pro in Nov of 95.
Therefore the term "years" is correct and refers to
the 2 years since the PPro was introduced.
