At the risk of sounding verbose... I deal with the "average consumer" everyday (VAR). My take is that the average consumer doesn't know or couldn't care less what's inside (as long as they don't have to know anything about it!). An example is IBM in the early days vs. the 'god forsake us', "IBM compatible". Well, rest of story. However, I'm not sure what this has to do with IDTI. I'm bettin' the C6 will be a laptop jewel and I happen to think that's where the future is. Call me crazy... Plus, I have already stated several times that pretty soon the Microsoft gig will be tapped out (in the average consumer sense). I mean, how many bells and whistles does Joe blow need? When people realize that it takes a hell of a lot of things to accomplish to slow down 300 MHZ, maybe they will realize that they don't need all that crap.
