Some are saying the AZ law mirrors federal immigration law. Would you agree it does nothing more than give the state the same powers to enforce our immigration laws that the feds have?

I have actually read the bill. The amount of lying going on in the media about what is provides is stunning im scope.

Tell us where the misunderstanding is? A link to a page would be great.

Socialism is Collapsing As We Speak
"By that I mean, high taxes, cradle-to-grave entitlements, government
dominating the economy, high prices because of VAT - collapsing as we
speak."

breitbart.tv

This is typical of Fox News - they say it like they see it.
NBS and CBS have become bad jokes as news services - they color everything from the liberal point of view.

CNN not a whole lot different. And they are paying for it - advertising revenues way down, simply because more and more people are switching to Fox, so they get a more balanced view. O'Reilly, all by himself is #1 nationwide. And Beck is #2.
Rupert Murdock, owner of Fox, knows how to make money - permanently.

Because of modern communication methods it is becoming more and more difficult to sweep dirt under the rug, and keep it there.
The American people, I believe, are beginning to fully wake up.
And although west Europeans are more addicted to gov't largess, even they are likely to come awake very soon. I think.

This entire era, in the longer run, may actually turn out to be a good thing for the world - simply because it is exposing how stupid it is to tolerate big government, socialism, and cradle-to-grave entitlements for everyone (especially gov't employees). It will take years yet for the world, including the USA, to work through this mess. But in the long run, it might just put a permanent stake through the heart of socialistic tendencies and governmental control of economics.
There is a happy medium in there somewhere, but we have drifted way to the left of that "sweet spot". The time has arrived that the pendulum is slowing down, and is about to start swinging the other way. But only in democratic countries of course.
