I don't think he ever intended to lend Zapara anything. Zapara was to deliver his shares to Morks account to cover. Apparently they were at the same brokerage.Zapara just stiffed him when the stock ran up. I'd be PO'd too.

FT: I doubt that you will get an answer. because what you say makes sense. the guy is a millionaire, he's shorting stock for his buddy for 20 grand? Forget lending..give him the money. al They were probably two peas in a pod.
