Carolyn,

The alltime high for TSSW is 17 5/8 in August of '95. The recent peak represents a possible shift in the supply/demand dynamics reflecting an underlying investor perception of a positive fundamental change in the co. Therefore what I call a "major" downtrend line can be drawn from the alltime high across the high on 10/13/97. That line is the one that must be broken through then retested. A followthrough upward on significant volume must occur after the retest to verify that TSSW is indeed going to be a stock with significant upside. The aspect to look for in the technicals is a strengthening of the indicators as that resistance line is approached. Certain key patterns are likely to be formed in the indicators that will forecast a probable breakout if and when the stock is ready to do so. A breakout of these technical patterns will usually occur within a day or two before the price breakout. That's about as much as I can go into it in print except to say that if the stock gaps up over the resistance, it's a very positive sign. Since the resistance is trending down, a retest would likely occur at slightly lower levels than the initial point of the breakout.

Does that help?
