Nice roller coaster ride in the market today. I love an E ticket ride. <G> At one time PG had a yield over 5%. But I was not quick enough to get any down there. Everyone blames it on electronic trading because there is no way to check on electronic trading. CNBS has been saying Citigroup's desk made the error. My question will always be, why do all quantitative traders follow the same models? Shouldn't the Cal Tech guy try to differentiate his model from the MIT guy? But it looks like they still march in lockstep. Man, are they ever dumb. And overpaid.
