In retrospect, looks to me like the day had three stages: Moving down (a continuation of prior day), falling off the cliff, recovering somewhat.

I've been buying throughout the day. Buys and gtc fills for me during and after the cliff-fall though were: a gtc fill for a small add of KMB @ $60.52; a buy of yet more ATPG; an add to my PFD position (discussed on Dividends for Retirement thread), an add to my position in e&p company CXPO (proved and probable reserves exceed enterprise value (one of several such e&p stocks)); a small add to my position in oil e&p DNR (enterprise val = $6B, npv-10 =$5.2B, but I like its strength in CO2).
