Mish.. You missed mentioning that this drop was NOT natural. It was a computer glitch of some type that sent even the ULTRA-SHORT ETFs into the pennies.

As I mentioned, TYP went from 9.50 to .15 per share.

Sure the markets were going to go lower, but the bids that were being seen were obviously data failure.

I'm wondering if this was a potential act of electronic sabotage..

Well the Dow has erased much of its loss and treasury bonds -- while still up sharply -- have given back much of their early gain.

Today looks like a short-term peak in bonds and the buck and a short-term bottom in stocks and commodities.
