I bought a bunch of long options during the drop, then was froze out of putting in sell orders - did CBOT stop trading?

Well, if I put a trade in with the decimal in the wrong place, etrade will reject it as being unrealistic. How could a sophisticated trader not have the same safeguard in place? And who puts words in their trade orders?
