Does anyone have the 12 month forward earnings estimate for the S&P 500? It was about $49 in September. It would be very interesting to see if there is any reduction over the next few weeks as the Asian thing is factored in. Please post the numbers if you have them.

Khalil: The capital group is a multi billion bucks (some say as big as Fidelity) investment group catering to pension funds and "wealthy Individuals". They are supposed to know what they are doing, but a. they are human, thus fallible, b. their charter is to be ins tock (in their stock portofolio, they have different groups within the group).
