since you are so bearish--you may be the person to ask.

spoke with an executive at cisco yesterday. he said that "push" technology may eventually make search engines obsolete. that a user will recieve information without need for search engine--the user's profile will push the information at them instantly.

do you know anything about this?

he was very optimistic about pointcast.
