Good idea to have an insulin meter. A couple of decades ago I noticed a blood sugar related lack of energy after running around playing football with the kids and a friend after work, but it would come right after resting for 10 minutes or so.

A doctor did some tests, fasting and whatnot but didn't notice anything.

An insulin meter would be interesting, and maybe a glucose test too [I haven't investigated the subject at all as it's a non-problem for me really].

A subcutaneous meter with a wireless link, like a cochlea implant in reverse, to a cyberphone which could transmit data to a website which could graph the data with medical oversight would be pretty good. An internal blood pressure meter should be easy too = a tiny band of elastomer around a little artery, with nano technology controls and a tiny chip and inductively coupled rechargeable battery should do it. When the blood pressure gets too high, release a dose of valium or some such to make the person come over all weak, and lie down as soon as they can.
