Hi Christine, Paganism is wetter than Atheism? Can you clarify this a little more. Yes, Sheela seems a little too straightforward with her come and get it pose. Isn't there supposed to be a little foreplay?

I got 1 flounder tonight, then the water turned way too murky to see them, so I had to quit. Stop casting your spells. there is only about 2 more weeks for the flouder run, and I only have about 6 lbs. of filets frozen. Which one of the goddesses is reponsible for making the water murky. It happened in only 1/2 hour after starting clear. It is one of the puzzles encountered in the sea.

Two nights ago, a dolphin came to the area where we were gigging, and was splashing and cavorting in water only about 2 feet deep for about 10 minutes. They are commonly only a few feet away from us, but in water 4 feet deep or more. Some of the other giggers once saw a dolphin come under a pelican and pull him under to never be seem again. Presumably he ate it! They're supposed to eat fish, but I guess they sometimes don't obey our rules.

For the record I am in favor of the right to own a gun, but don't care to be part of a lengthy debate. In a few years you may need one to defend yourself against the promise keepers.

G'night
Del

Christine, as usual you maul history. A belief in witches characterized pagan Europe. Just as in some parts of Africa and South America today, people feared having a witch cast an evil spell on them. These pagan beliefs made a resurgence in Europe around the time of the Renaissance, and witch-burning came with it. Despite your animus towards Christianity, it was your beloved Middle Age pagans who roasted your beloved witches. And they killed off the cats, paving the way for the Black Plague. Nothing in Christianity about pussycats, but there is in pagan superstition. Surely even you must know that the man who put an end to the lunacy in Salem was the town's pastor, who had been away in Europe when his charges went nuts.
