With Globalstar getting ready to launch the next constellation and Qualcomm continuing to ramp up, though the share prices is ramping down, the borgs will be always connected. Even when in space, they'll be connected.

With a GPS SPOT device just under the scalp, the borg could be tracked so they'd never get lost. We bought a SPOT a couple of weeks ago and it's excellent. But too cumbersome, though it's only palm of hand sized. Made nano and inserted under the scalp, it would function unobtrusively. It could be done with the same installation as the cochlear implants, sharing a battery, chip and inductive couple charging.
