Larry, I agree that, after all, we should allow the analysts time to analyze! I was told that before the first session, Valence's box of brochures went empty! I forgot to ask if they handed out production samples- one of my contacts didn't think so.

It does not appear that a buyout is a near-term concern. A comment I heard recently is that it may take a year or two and by that time we may already have a $60-$100 share price.

As alternatives to buyouts, more joint ventures or other arrangements for shortening an already large, established company's timetable for lithium polymer production are possible, especially considering that available capital limits the rate that Valence can build its own production facilities.

Such arrangements would generate additional revenue for Valence as payback for their many years of R&D.

Regards, FMK

If Valence were to find themselves the target of a buy-out attempt, what would their options be? Could they be subject to something like a hostile takeover? I would imagine that the management anticipates an upside move similar to what most of us believe will happen, so I wouldn't think they'd want to sell the company until that level has been reached. If so, we'd all still do fine. Or is it possible for someone to acquire them at a lower stock price wether they like it or not?

Thanks,
