There seems to be little reason that Apple would give exclusive US rights to AT&T

Apple ALREADY has an agreement with at&t - they know that their chips work on at&t's network, why would they NOT continue to use at&t?? Seems like a no-brainer from Apples perspective until they change chips, just way less headaches.

Until I see proof of a contract extension, I think the IPad working on at&t has absolutely no bearing on a CDMA/LTE IPhone either way.

If the 6 month extension turns out to be true, that would just add fuel to the fire that Verizon (or someone else) will FOR SURE bet getting the IPhone at some point. Why just 6 months???
