Re -- The big difference between MediaGX (other than performance) is that MediaGX can run all x86 programs.

You mean Windows programs. Many DOS games will not run on the 486GX.

Re -- As far as positioning MediaGX, You are the only one who is doing it.
Did you see Compaq's pitch in the stores. Also Brian Halla insisted on it on CNBC (It was like the world recognized it was not a pentium equivalent, but he was selling it as such).

Re -- Actually, Intel would be glad if Pentium classic was in the same class as MediaGX. In reality, it lacks many features, such as integrated audio, video, PCI controller, memory controller as well as support for optional L2 cache

Thank goodness!! The Pentium classic packard bell sells for less than a 486GX system
