PS: Why don't you spin a good yarn and I'll see ifen I can match it.
My best story is a fish story. I was backpacking in VT with my pole and a friend. We came upon this pool off a logging road and droped our lines in. It was October so it was a little brisk so we broke out the sheepskin full of JD and fished. We were catching trouts by the buckets and threw um all back until we were hungry. Thats when I got a hit in this little pool that did not belong to a trout. My pole looked like an inverted U. Well I fought with this puppy for about 5 minutes when it became apparent that A) my test on the line was strong enough to hold it and B) my pole woulds snap if I pulled it out. So my friend took off his shoes and walked out with the line to about 2 feet of water than pulled the line releaseing the stress on my pole. Whatever it was it wasnt coming off the bottom. Just than my friend jumped a mile in the air and ran to shore. I asked him what his problem was and he said whatever it was it rubbed his leg and it was huge. Well my pole kept on bending and finally this thing came to the surface. If I didn't know better it was a pike, but I never seen one with teeth like that. I pulled out my buey and cut the line. Needless to say we found another pool,
