You might recall in history not so long ago that Negroes were actually slaves, being the property of their individual owners. They are not not quite the property of the state now, but the difference for serfs is not substantial. Many people have even been conscripted and sent off to die for "their country" which actually means for "the benefit of those in charge". Some of us don't think we need "serf drivers" any more than slaves needed "slave drivers". <>>Government should leave people alone to run their own affairs without a nosy bossy kleptocrat telling them how to do it.<< > A better solution than fleeing to Somalia or Haiti is violent overthrow of the slave drivers and serf drivers. A good old-fashioned revolution. It might be coming to a place near you one of these days given the way debts and kleptocratic suffocatocracy are growing. Have a look at Greece for example. While you might not like it, a common event is that people do NOT flee elsewhere, but stand and fight. My recommendation is to get off the backs of the slaves before they come up with better ideas which could involve an untoward change in the serf-riders' personal circumstances. Even the most oppressive tyrants traditionally limited their take to something like a tithe. With democratic process, those in charge have managed to get up to over half the spending going to the hordes of kleptocrats. Mqurice
