It appears, as Gary already posted, that Centura elected to postpone closing of quite a few ForeSite deals until Q3 in order to smooth-out the stock's volatility. This is good and something that the company has been repeatedly critized for in this thread -- its apparent inability to accurately project quarterly results.

Sure, on the surface I too would have preferred that the company closes as many deals and posts as much revenue as it possibly can to Q2 because this would have been very good for short-term trading, but not at the expense of failing to meet analyst expectations for Q3 which would once again have been devastating for long-term trading.


Can you see how I misinterpreted this as "storing money in a safe"? Since they have met analyst estimations in two straight quarters, don't you think it's possible they did this again to save up a big load for a surprise?...or, on a darker side, had to "get an advance" on their earnings to meet estimations?
