<I was simply minimizing the problem of government, the same way you minimized the problem of the oil spill > They aren't in the same league. Government wastes $1 trillion at a time these days. The oil spill is still measurable in the $ millions. 20 dead people x $2 million = $40 million. Platform probably $1 billion or maybe $2 billion. Spilt oil = $10 million. On fleeing bad political systems, I prefer to stay here where I own the place to at least a limited extent via the ballot box if I can get others to agree to be sensible. Going somewhere else such as Alaska would be silly. I have heard it gets very cold and very dark there. Neither of those suit me. Ice in the tank? Pour some hot drilling mud down the pipe. Mqurice
