I don't recall raising birther issues - you writing that is called a straw man argument.

Since you raised it, I tell you my thoughts. I think Obama was born in Hawaii and that the long/full/original (whatever it may be called) birth certificate is not made public because it perhaps has something embarrassing on it....but I think it does exist and that Obama is a US citizen.

On the grades stuff, I only mentioned that because the person I was responding to often notes how "smart" Obama is relative to other leaders. In my subsequent posts, you'll see that my view is that labels like "smart" or stupid tend to be used by people that agree or disagree with a person's philosophy -- becoming POTUS is an impressive accomplishment for anybody and is not something that is achieved by a lazy or unintelligent person.
