I see you do not post often but I really appreciate your insights into both HL and SLW. I have owned HL for years so can easily be interested in ideas.

Hi Bob,

No doubt HL is a good company. Its stock price reflected the weakness of the big basemetal stocks, such as, RTP, BHP and FCX, imho. HL will show better gains when the prices of basemetals found base. The recent big drop of Chinese stock market hurt the basemetals because the futures market speculating reduced demands. Once HL is near the bottom the stock will become a bargain opportunity when scared investor kept on dumping it.

Silver will suffer if the market, or the investors, think it is a basemetal, but I see it gradually becoming a currency at this moment, just imho.
