Notice how stupid his remarks were about the police situation in Harvard. He quickly moved away from that. But surely, some of his remarks including the ones to keep Sarah Palin in the forefront is by design so as to gain some political advantage.

I think he would want to run against Palin instead of someone like Bobby Jindal, another Republican with excellent academic credentials. Now I am not fully sure if Jindal was born here or he moved here at the age of 4 or so. I have watched JIndal on several talk shows and what i like about him is that he does not give evasive politically correct answers as others do.

My sense is that Obama would not be all that comfortable running against Jindal. Neither would I, a registered Democrat. But as an American citizen, I would love to see the best duelling it out.
