Had the Usa not stepped in think about where we would be today
THE only problem is they bailed out the wrong people
and these same pks are still bankrupt
Money would have been better used to buy ALL (only 1 per family/individual)mortgages and placed into new entity. Payments immediately decreased 20% and 5 years down the road the company sold to private sector . The govt probably could have made $$ but all they really needed was to break even
ANYHOW get ready for EUROPE is about to open the flood gates
