Thanks Jimmy,

Every stock goes up and down, even DELL. DELL just goes up more and down less. I've tried to time it this year to sell at high and buy back at low. "Lost" money 3 out of 4 times and barely covered taxes and brokerage fees the time I made money. So I no longer try. I've tucked it away into my long-term capital gains portfolio.

I still try to keep up on the thread because IMO several of the posters exhibit exceptional market insight and wisdom. However, after the marathon of fluff I went through last night, I may just bookmark Jim, Patrick, Secondamend9 and others.

I note that earnings forecast (Yahoo) is .65 vice .59 previous quarter. First time this year that the analysts actually predict that DELL will have sequential quarterly earnings increases.

Does anyone know what DELL's advertising costs are going to be this quarter? IMO they have definitely increased their advertising budget, as I have seen numerous DELL advertisements, and I don't think that I am merely sensitized to the brand name.

A big "Howdy" to all, and look forward to meeting some of you tomorrow.
