10yrs!! Wow...As a trader, my themes don't go out more than a few months, sometimes a few weeks and sometimes a few minutes. My feeling is that all economic events go in cycles. I think hundred of years of experience prove this. The fact that we havent had a correction (a real one) as well as a downturn in the economy in over 10 years or so does not mean that we have less chance of having one but more chance of having one. That you have gotten away without changing your oil does not mean you have less chance of having a problem but more. Anyway, wish I had crystal ball....
