Is it good that nothing gets done on deficit reduction. That is what a polarized Congress does. Nothing!

Ken you are suffering from battered wife syndrome. Congress like an abusive husband beats the sh*t out of the American public, and you like the battered wife is saying "He really didnt mean it and if I am good he will bring me flowers"

ken...."Chart, Is it good that nothing gets done on deficit reduction. That is what a polarized Congress does. Nothing!"....

So ken..which party controls congress?

Can you say democrats?

Just tell hussein to stop spending tax payer money on control of business and vote buying...real simple and I bet Republicans would support this move?

There is something special in the air, Kenny.....My little township just recalled the majority of an entrenched, financially brain dead, echo chamber of "yes men" school board.....very much a shocker given the history around here.

People are starting to pay attention....very bad news for the business as usual political class....hopefully, it will be to late for many of them to wake up before being shown the door.

Kenneth, so you are saying that Congress has been polarized for many years...yet you also say they are doing a great job. Confusing...

That is what a polarized Congress does. Nothing!

this is something that politicians in general don't seem to understand, Most of the time "Nothing" is exactly what should be done.

Have you ever driven a car in the snow and gone around a corner and had the rear slide out a little? Have you ever overcorrected your steering and spun the car out?

That's what is happening in our government now. Everyone from Congress to the Federal Reserve is so anxious to show the world that they are doing something that they over-react to every condition and they are putting the country and the economy into a wild tailspin.

One of the things that I have learned in the business world over the years is to not react to everything immediately. Most of the time problems will fix themselves at a lower level without my involvement. We've got congress and the president micromanaging intimate facets of our lives. This is a recipe for disaster in business and it is a recipe for disaster for this country.

Did you see that California is going to try to legislate the use of metal/composite bats at the high school level because one kid got hurt?

I would be thrilled if Congress took 4 or 5 years off to let the country reach an equilibrium and then the really important issues would percolate to the top and they could deal with those rather than trying to fix every problem in the society.

it's time to put the brakes on

oh bummer! When one party has a majority as is the case at present they can do as they want. The reason you do not have deficit reduction at the moment is because the dumasrats don't want it. Currently they are more interested in redistributing the poverty.
Have you listened to your leader and are you listing to rush limbaugh and watching glen beck to round out your biases?
Have you read Fredrick Hayeks "Road to Serfdom"? The book that gave the world the much quoted phrase " The road to hell is paved with good intentions". Socialism which many believe is social justice is actually the road to serfdom for most if not all. Thus the road to hell is paved with good intentions, Socialism is that road to hell. Maybe a better title for his book would have been the road to hell.

Don't worry! Be happy! on your road to social justice.
