Tick is a reading of the selling or buying pressure in the market. A -1000 tick is extreme selling pressure, as +1000 tick is extreme buying pressure.

One can only imagine what -1875 Tick is, and we saw it today.

Just as bad as most all reports about options open interest. This -1875 Tick does not differentiate between a Short or an Investor as seller of inventory owned...its the same with Option open interest, Put activity or call activity are both uncharacterized sums....for all intents and purposes, this data is worthless.

By way of example If Short sold my stock XYZZ short, his action against my Hold contributes to accumulated inertia.

Relative states have accumulated information accrued within the present state. Only characterization can differentiate between the wild claims about what current Tick data is reporting. Without characterization....your either just a mouthpiece talking a book, or guilty of a failure to recognize the importance of the missing information and this fact is what puts many of those consigned to one derivative camp or another, at greater risk than they can know.

Ask to see information that proves that the data contains the acrued information...

All Present states have accumulated information.....
