re: """..At the moment, U.S. troop levels are nearing 100,000 in Afghanistan.

Massive quantities of oil are belching into the Gulf of Mexico.

The White House has signaled de facto acceptance of a high unemployment rate for several more years, while offering weak GOP-lite countermeasures like tax breaks for businesses.

Nuclear power subsidies are getting powerful support from both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue, while meaningful action against global warming is nowhere in sight.

The Justice Department continues to backtrack on civil liberties.

And now, if the president's nomination of Elena Kagan is successful, the result will move the Supreme Court to the right....

How is ALL the above not unlike or even worse, God forbid, than from Bush? I just don't get it with the Dem hacks defending this just because it is from from Obama. If all that oil was gushing from the Gulf floor less than a month after Bush had opened up more off shore drilling, along with a big troop buildup and EXPANDED war in Afghan and NOW Pakistan, along with chipping away at Miranda, etc., the Dem hacks head's would be exploding. That is if they had a conscience.. I really think the Dehacks could care less about things like the environment, war and individual rights, etc. and JUST about partisan politics.

Why aren't the Dehacks complaining about their hero's, (LIVIN LARGE Al and Tipper) life style where I bet JUST one day of their hugely CONSUMING living has erased my thirty plus years of my recycling, conserving, etc. conservation.. Btw, I wish I would have voted for Nader that year although it wouldn't have made any diff where I am at.. I was talked out of it... If s/he or someone like him, Nader, runs next time s/he gets my vote..
