I agree that the Obama recovery has been put on track, at least for now and for as long as no other PIIGs slide. I am keeping an eye on Portugal since Spain is strong enough economically to address their situation.

What you said is all well and good but I think you may be undervaluing what happened this weekend. Now only did the EU decide to take a strong stand behind the Euro but the European Central bank which heretofore had been dragging its feet, pulled a Bernanke and said it would stand strongly behind the PIIGS. Its that latter announcement which is mainly responsible for the third biggest opening in the Dow's history this AM.
