Hi-
I figure that anybody trying to push a stock on this thread is just
being disrespectful to all the people trying to figure out what is
happening. Obviously the collapse in BRE-X was meaningful for the
whole gold market..when people ask about individual stocks as to whether to buy or not..think that is disrespectful..one way is for
nobody to answer..obviously the people who are selfish enough to
pursue this have read enough of our comments to have not have comments
on individual stocks..it is not weird that they continue to do it..
just a show of people's nature..(nobody changes unless forced too)
I have learned to skip over a lot of posts of people who just are
a waste of time..easier than getting upset..

Why mess with success? This thread has little or no spamming and nearly all of the posts are directed at the topic. I'm not sure what has caused this latest round of concern, but if it is innocent questions about how to best invest in gold, then perhaps these people should be directed to threads or information sources that will help them answer their questions? Accusing them of vile acts against humanity, or whatever their crimes may be, is counterproductive to getting more people interested in this subject.

Sincerely,

Al Cern

PS I spend about $10,000/yr., every year as a tourist in Colorado. Should I, and all the other people who come to your beautiful state buy gold instead? What stocks would you recommend (just kidding)?

Richard - Answers to your questions:

1. I consider Bre-x to have been an extraordinary situation, even so, it would have been relevant to this thread only to the extent that it had an effect on the broader markets.

2. Major vs minor vs junior I do not see a problem with. My main concern is that we not get sidetracked into discussions of the merits or lack thereof of individual stocks, and most particularly, junior gold mining stocks. As I have said before, everybody has their favorite dogs, and I for one have been in this market long enough that I am full to the craw with everyones favorite dog.
