But having followed Faber for years, i hold his short trem calls are just about the average of ALL the best callers, that being "just" between 50-60% correct.
There are ZERO magicians on shorterm calling, studies will show that, truth is anyone that can call 50% with CORRECT stops, will MAKE money and NOT breakeven.

Faber's 7 !!!GREAT CALLS!!!! all were calls made for the future---time frames as much as 5 years out.

Thus i do NOT promote Faber for shorterm calls, beyond his being just of the average of the best, which isn't that impressive.

Regards shorterm trading/investing i give again the GREATEST QOUTE i have EVER read---EVAH!(as they say in Maine:)

George SOROS: "Being right or wrong on a call is IRRELEVANT. What really matters is what you profit when you are right and what you lose when you are wrong" which leads into his saying that his RULE #1 in the market is " Maximize profits when you are right and minimize losses when you are wrong".
