I've always preferred the small caps and the Mid caps,as they have better percentage advances and are more nimble.

What may be the sleeper however is the S&P?

I have always preferred the mid caps and then the russell - equal weight.

That being said, they have out performed and maybe it is time for the US banks to be differentiated from the european banks and the UK banks(so S&P is weighted that way I've been told).

I read along time ago that the US banks were much less levered than EU or UK.

They've(UK and EU) been whistling past the graveyard hoping no one would notice -THEY HAVE THE BIGGER PROBLEMS.

It just might be that the S&P with US banks having been less levered and fixed first - get the boost - NOT beacause they are so good - but just that they are strongest - in a relative way??

COULD BE A REAL SLEEPER?

I'm thinking of equal weighting and S&P has lagged, might just be the darling of the bunch?

One more dip and I'm going aggressive.

Want to hit that 3 wave up with as much as I can sleep with! Gulp<smile>
