I forget the exact statistics, but they are very good when doing the opposite of the open, at least for the first hour. However, they do predate the post-March 09 rally. Now that the Monday ramp is out of the way, who knows where the market will go, but I suspect we'll retest the Friday close (not the Thursday low, at least for now). Among other things, I sold some JJC today, bought GLD at the open, and shorted some RRC near the close. Would love 30-year yields to pop a little more so I can get out of a losing TBF position, but that is a little unlikely.
