Greenwald is not a liberal. nor are you. and if you doubt Kagan's creditionals, perhaps you might go a round or two with her and see who knows their stuff.

Did you read Greenwald's 'criticisms' of Kagan? Talk about a cipher........there is little of substance in his complaints. Most of it is actually Kagan complaints by others.......like by 4 professors who are scattered throughout the country and are furious that she did not hire more professors of color when she was Dean at Harvard. I think she may have been Dean for only two years and yet that's enough time to condemn her hiring practices and question her ideology. I don't like ideologues either on the left or the right.....and Greenwald sounds like an ideologue with an axe to grind. <<< It's anything but surprising that President Obama has chosen Elena Kagan to replace John Paul Stevens on the Supreme Court. Nothing is a better fit for this White House than a blank slate, institution-loyal, seemingly principle-free careerist who spent the last 15 months as the Obama administration's lawyer vigorously defending every one of his assertions of extremely broad executive authority. The Obama administration is filled to the brim with exactly such individuals -- as is reflected by its actions and policies -- and this is just one more to add to the pile ... >>> salon.com;
