You said the SS admin has been buying the safest investment in the world...Treasuries. If they had been doing that with my SS contributions for the past 45 years I would have plenty for retirement if the money was being compounded at then current rates for the past 45 years based on my monthly payout, i would have to live to about 150 yrs old to get reimbursed. Therefore, where did the $$$ go? I've been looted and I suspect millions more have been as well.
