The text of the post says very little about the subject in the title, "Income inequality and Great Depression". As for financial sector wages - Perhaps a more telling point is the growing disparity between public/government sector compensation and private sector compensation. It used to be that government jobs paid less but where more secure and had better benefits. Now they pay more, are more secure and have better benefits. The parasite is growing large enough to damage its host.
