>>>That may be the most pristine legal resume in existence, and she didn't put it together without being brilliant. But she's spent pretty much her whole life in the best schools in the world and has probably never got her hands dirty.<<<

Bingo. I saw a histogram a few months back plotting the years of experience of senior administration officials against president. Obama blew them all away (back to Hoover?) in terms of percentage from academe/no real experience. FDR was up there.

I couldn't agree more about Kagan. Academic creampuff. I am not saying that she isn't brilliant either - probably quite the opposite. There is a place for cloistered academics - usually science - where you really can't afford to be disturbed with things like budgets and hiring/firing people. Sure we need historians to keep the memories and lessons alive.

Bernanke definitely out of the same cloth.

Morlocks?? Nah. The Morlocks were on the receiving end of the Souylent Green - you know - like the banksters.

She's never lived in the real world. The two years at the law firm don't even count, because they tend to give young associates very little responsibility.

Even calling her a "lawyer" is a stretch.

But what can you do. She's the type that seems to get all the good jobs these days.

th epsin is that bernanke is an aloof academic.

the truth is he's a controlled financial bad guy and mouth piece for the international banking cartel.

he knows he broke the law when he did this...

market-ticker.denninger.net

any 5th grader could look at that chart (allowance in green, borrowed candy money in red) and no it would blow. there isn't an academic book in the world that claims taking credit parabolic (liar's loans, anyone?) to revenues (remember, taxes collected are only 1/6th of the green's height - and that is how the red gets paid) is sustainable.

he's not an academic, he's a mole for the TBTF international banking cartel - jpm, goldman, morgan, BofA, wells, IMF, world bank, deutche bank, etc... and he's leveraged america's wealth for the profit of his cartel.

he's a criminal - literally. there is no debate here. he (and greenspan) p*ssed all over the true fed's LEGAL mandate for more than a decade.
