This story is a little dated. The president announced yesterday that he is breaking up the MMS agency to make it more effective and enable the folks in the agency to enforce the regulations better free of all influences of bribery etc. It does not make sense to advocate that we shout down the automotive industry and take away their jobs because of some poor design or bad enforcement of existing regulations due to accidents from poor automotive design. This noise from the ultra left is beginning to sound that way. We do not want to shut Ford down because of Toyota's poor design In fact, I and many others I am sure would not even advocate shutting Toyota down. Would you?
